If eligible, skilled workers in select occupations can be nominated by their regional eligible employer to live and work in Australia as a permanent resident. Once approved, you are expected to remain in your job for 2 years. To be eligilble for this visa, you must be nominated by an Australian employer, have the necessary skills of the job and meet the English, health and character requirements.
The benefit of the 187 visa program is that you are still able to access English language exemptions where you have studied for 5 years full-time in high school or higher education institutions where English was the medium of instruction. We can assess your eligibility for English language testing exemptions during the fee estimate process.

Quebec Immigrant Investor Program
(QIIP )
- Minimum net worth of CAD 2000000 obtained legally.
- Intend to settle in Quebec and invest CAD 1200000.
- Passive investment program
- 2 years of management experience in the last 5 years.
- Must be admissible and pass a medical exam.
Entrepreneurs
- Quebec Entrepreneur Program.
- Federal Start up Visa Programs.
- Provincial Entrepreneur Programs.
Federal Self Employed Program
- Requirements:
- Must have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics.
- Must be willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada.
Federal Start Up Visa Program
- The candidate must :
- Have a qualifying business.
- have a letter of support from a designated organization.
- meet the language requirements.
- Minimum investment of CAD 75000 required from a designated Canadian angel investor group.
- Financial investment not required if accepted into a Canadian business incubator program.
Provincial Nominee Program
- PNP enables different provinces and territories across Canada to nominate foreign nationals as business immigrants.
- Each province / territory has their own unique selection criteria.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR A 187 VISA
Position
Nomination
Approval of a position to be filled by a foreign worker.
Confirms that the business has the financial capacity to employ the worker, that there is a genuine vacancy that could not be filled by an Australian first, that the position is on the approved list of occupations and that your nominated worker will earn the Australian market salary rate.
Worker Visa
Application
Approval of the individual to enter or remain in Australia indefinitely.
Confirms they meet the skill, English, health and character criteria to be granted a permanent visa for Australia.
Applicants may include their family under this visa if their sponsor agrees.
